A hilarious musical comedy written by Maurice Ravel in 1907, L’Heure espagnole tells the story of the whims of Concepcion, the wife of a clockmaker from Toledo, who, in her husband’s absence, finds herself torn between various suitors. Doors slam in the shop, clocks move… and the magical music of Ravel, a master of orchestration, makes time fly by under the passionate baton of Valentina Peleggi.
