OFF Festival | A look back at the first edition

The first edition of the Festival Ravel OFF took place on September 19, 20, and 21, 2025.

Echoing the Festival Ravel, which had ended a few days earlier, this new highlight of our artistic activities took place in five towns in the inland Basque Country: Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, Jatxou, Ossès, Saint-Palais, and Hasparren.

Organized as part of European Heritage Days, eight free concerts and impromptu performances were held at heritage sites and off-the-beaten-track locations, including the Goicoechea pottery workshops in Ossès, the Chemins Bideak Area in Saint-Palais, and the Sacré Cœur Chapel in Hasparren.

This first edition showcased a selection of young soloists from the latest editions of the Académie Ravel, in innovative performances that won over a large audience.

The Festival Ravel thanks its partners, and in particular the municipalities of Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, Hasparren and Saint-Palais, the Goicoechea pottery, and the parish of Saint-Sauveur d’Errobi – Ustaritz.
