Program
Lecture by Màrius Bernadó.
Maurice Ravel and Ricardo Viñes met when they were both thirteen years old, shortly after the pianist arrived in Paris in October 1887. Immediately, the two teenagers became inseparable friends, sharing games, reading, and musical tastes… Together, they discovered art and life. From this sincere friendship arose a fruitful artistic partnership between composer and performer, one that was decisive in shaping their respective careers.
