Elodie Sigrist

Elodie Sigrist is a Franco-Japanese pianist whose broad musical interests encompass the solo repertoire, collaborative piano, chamber music, and contemporary music. After studying at the Conservatoire of Toulouse, Elodie Sigrist was admitted at the age of 17 to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. There, Elodie Sigrist is pursuing a Master’s degree in Piano under Claire Désert while simultaneously completing a Bachelor’s degree in Collaborative Piano with Ariane Jacob.

Since August 2025, Elodie Sigrist has been studying as an exchange student at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki with Tuija Hakkila. This experience has enabled Elodie Sigrist to deepen her knowledge of the Lied repertoire and contemporary music, leading to collaborations with the NYKY Ensemble and performances of works by Kaija Saariaho, notably under the direction of Hannu Lintu.

In international piano competitions, Elodie Sigrist won First Prize in the Challenger category at the Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux International Piano Competition (2024), was a finalist at the Collioure International Piano Competition (2024), and received a prize at the Helmi Vesa Competition in Helsinki (2026).

Elodie Sigrist has further enriched her musical development through masterclasses with distinguished artists including Claudio Martínez Mehner, Anne Queffélec, and Rena Shereshevskaya. Elodie Sigrist performs regularly in recitals and at festivals in France and Finland. Most recently, Elodie Sigrist took part in the Liechtenstein Music Academy, where she attended a masterclass with Milana Chernyavska, and will join the Bartók class of the Jaroussky Academy in autumn 2026.
