Tabea Streicher

Born in 2004, Tabea Streicher is a German-Hungarian pianist whose talent has been recognized through numerous prizes at international competitions. Most recently, Tabea Streicher was awarded Third Prize at the prestigious Felix Mendelssohn Competition in Berlin, as well as Third Prize and several special prizes at the Mayenne International Piano Competition, Second Prize at the Città di San Donà di Piave International Piano Competition, and First Prize at the Tunbridge Wells Music Competition.

At the age of seven, Tabea Streicher was admitted to the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin, where Tabea Streicher studied with Galina Iwanzowa. After many years of support from the Julius Stern Institute at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK), Tabea Streicher is now continuing her studies at the UdK in the class of Björn Lehmann. During the 2024–2025 academic year, Tabea Streicher was an exchange student at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), studying with Hortense Cartier-Bresson.

Tabea Streicher has also taken part in masterclasses with distinguished pianists including Michel Béroff, Klaus Hellwig, Eldar Nebolsin, Milana Chernyavska, Jacques Rouvier, and Martin Helmchen.

As both a soloist and chamber musician, Tabea Streicher has performed in some of Europe’s leading concert halls, including the Berlin Philharmonie, Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle, the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Semperoper Dresden, and the Musikverein in Vienna. In January 2026, Tabea Streicher performed Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto in G minor with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin under the baton of Gregor Mayrhofer in the main concert hall of the Berlin University of the Arts.

Chamber music plays a central role in Tabea Streicher’s artistic career, particularly Tabea Streicher’s collaboration with her brother, Daniel Streicher. Together, they have won several prizes as a piano duo at international competitions. With the support of the Orphée Musique Association, Tabea Streicher and Daniel Streicher will present a series of concerts in New York at the end of 2026.
