She graduated with highest honors in Cello Performance from the University of Chile.

Throughout her career, she has performed and conducted research in a wide range of musical projects, including chamber orchestras, ensembles, and solo performances. Her work has allowed her to explore the languages of free improvisation, contemporary music, classical music, popular music, and interdisciplinary artistic projects.

She has performed in numerous concert halls and venues across Chile and has taken part in international tours in Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, and Argentina.

She studied with professors Roberto González and Cristian Peralta and has participated in masterclasses led by Edgar Fisher (Chile), Eduardo Valenzuela (Chile), Heidi Litschauer (Austria), Walter Schulz (Austria), Umberto Clerici (Italy), and Niall Brown (England), among others.

She is currently developing l.O (Isidora O’Ryan), her solo musical project. She is also a member of the indie-pop-electronic band Los Tristes and of Xatarra, an ensemble dedicated to improvisation and music production.

In addition, she collaborates with a variety of artists as a cellist, singer, and songwriter.

In 2019, she received the Award for Best Musical Composition at the 28th Spanish Dance and Flamenco Choreography Competition for the original piece Galerna, created by her twin sister, Florencia O’Ryan Zúñiga.
