Before the concert
Children in grades 4 and 5 at Saint-Selve school and those attending the Saucats leisure center are taking part in writing and choral singing workshops led by pianist and choir director Stéphane Delincack. Participants are invited to write the lyrics for one of the pieces in the program, which they will perform at the start of the concert.
At the same time, eight Musique en chantier workshops are being organized in the two towns. Led by featured pianist Marina Saiki, an actor, and mediator Charlotte Thomas, these workshops allow participants to create their own music based on a story they have imagined together and to step into the shoes of a composer.
