Winner of Spain’s prestigious Premio Nacional de Música in 2018, the Cuarteto Quiroga invites Javier Perianes and Tabea Zimmermann to explore the chamber music of the Iberian Peninsula. A concert bringing together the four “greats of Spain” (Albéniz, Granados, Falla, Turina) and the man who might have been their master had he not died before the age of 20: Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga, nicknamed “the Spanish Mozart.”
