Katia-Sofía Hakim
Katia-Sofía Hakim was born in Bayonne. A Franco-Spanish musicologist, poet and translator, she lives in Granada, Andalusia, where she conducts her research at the Archivo Manuel de Falla.
A qualified teacher, she is a member of the editorial board of Place de la Sorbonne, an international journal of contemporary poetry (Paris, Sorbonne Université Presses).
She has translated the poetry of Cristina Peri Rossi (Paris, Seuil, 2023), Nancy Huston (Madrid, La Cama Sol, 2025) and Charles Juliet (Madrid, La Cama Sol, 2026).
A soprano, she is a member of the choir of the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada (OCG). After studying at Sorbonne University and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), she is currently continuing her vocal studies at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música Victoria Eugenia (RCSMVE) in Granada.
