Cassandra Teissedre

Her activities in chamber music, orchestra, contemporary creation, and early music make Cassandra Teissedre a versatile musician who constantly explores different worlds and forms of expression on both viola and violin.

She is completing a Master’s degree in viola and chamber music at the Conservatoire de Paris, studying with Pierre-Henri Xuereb, Claire Désert, François, and Louis Rodde, and is currently spending a semester at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München in the class of Roland Glassl.

During masterclasses at Prussia Cove, Kronberg, the Tenerife Viola Masterclasses, the Ravel Festival Academy, the Menuhin Festival Academy, and the Schiermonnikoog Festival, she has worked with renowned musicians such as Kim Kashkashian, Lars Anders Tomter, Veronika Hagen, Nobuko Imai, Thomas Riebl, Ettore Causa, and Bertrand Chamayou.

At various festivals, she has had the opportunity to share the stage with Gary Hoffman (Schiermonnikoog), Gidon Kremer, Richard Goode (“Chamber Music Connects the World” at the Kronberg Academy), Guillaume Chilemme (Festival Pablo Casals), François Salque, Pierre Fouchenneret, François Dumont, Itamar Golan, and Jean-Baptiste Doulcet.

Supported by the Safran Foundation and Société Générale in 2025, and a first prize and Grand Prize winner at the international Glazounov and Léopold Bellan competitions, she has a constant desire to enrich her artistic journey with new experiences.
