Paisit Bon-Dansac

Born in Bangkok, Thailand, in 1992, he began his musical studies at the Conservatoire d’Aix-en-Provence, winning first prize for piano in 2005 and chamber music in 2006.

In 2007, he was unanimously admitted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where his teachers were Nicholas Angelich and Romano Pallottini, followed by Frank Braley and Haruko Ueda.

At the same time, he worked with Bernard d’Ascoli within the Piano Cantabile association, and benefited from the advice of Jacques Rouvier, Roger Muraro, Dang Thai Son, Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, Jean-Marc Luisada, Konstantin Lifshitz and Oxana Yablonskaya during master classes.

To round off his training, he studied piano accompaniment with David Selig at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon.

Winner of several international competitions, he performed as a soloist for the first time in Moldavia in 2003, at the age of 11, with the Moldavian Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Valentin Doni.

Since then, he has performed concertos by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin with the Chisinau Chamber Orchestra, the Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestre Symphonique de l’Opéra de Toulon.

He is a guest at numerous festivals, including Nuits Pianistiques in Aix-en-Provence, Vacances de Monsieur Haydn in La Roche-Posay, Piano en Valois in Angoulême, Concerts de Poche in Savigny-le-Temple, Festival des Jeunes Talents in Paris, Jeunes Talents Classiques in Vitrolles, Festival des Cimes in Val d’Isère.

He also performs at several European festivals, in South Korea and Colombia, where he has completed two concert and masterclass tours.

He also collaborates with composers including Olivier Kaspar, for whom he recorded a collection of pieces entitled “L’album de campagne” in 2012, and Vincent Portes, whose piece “Magnetismes” he will premiere with flutist Victoria Creighton in 2021.

He accompanies students at the CNSMD in Lyon and the CRR in Grenoble.
