Nicolas Crosse

Nicolas Crosse studied with Jean-Paul Celea at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP).

In 2012, he became a member of the Ensemble Modern, then soloist with the Ensemble intercontemporain.

In 2016, he was appointed double bass professor at the CNSMDP.

His musical and interdisciplinary collaborations are numerous. Loyalty to artists such as Yann Robin, Marco Suarez Cifuentes, Nieto, Lucas Fagin, Luis Fernando Rizo-Salom, Tolga Tüzün, Martin Matalon, Raphaël Cendo, Yannick Haenel, Nicolas Ducloux, Eric-Maria Couturier, Roberto Negro, Michele Rabbia and the Multilatérale collective follows season after season.

Developing and teaching double bass repertoire at the highest level are the two exciting facets of his artistic life.
