Morgane Fauchois

French pianist Morgane Fauchois pursues a varied career that takes her from opera houses to concert stages, from recitals with singers to chamber music projects.

She has collaborated with singers such as Roberto Alagna, Aleksandra Kurzak, Rolando Villazòn, Natalie Dessay, Karine Deshayes, Béatrice Uria-Monzon, Tara Erraught…

In a rich repertoire that extends to contemporary creations, she is vocal director for numerous theaters and festivals: Opéra de Paris, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Théâtre du Châtelet, Lyon, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Tel Aviv, Riga, Salzburg, Aix-en-Provence… working with conductors such as Louis Langrée, Carlo Rizzi, Daniele Gatti, Alain Altinoglu, Peter Eötvös, Marc Minkowski, Thomas Hengelbrock, Edward Gardner and Henrik Nánási.

Alongside her work in the operatic repertoire and vocal recital, she also performs chamber music, notably with the musicians of the Orchestre de Paris, with whom she also plays regularly as pianist and orchestral harpsichordist.

Morgane Fauchois studied at the Paris Conservatoire, graduating with honors in piano, chamber music and accompaniment, and went on to earn a soloist’s diploma with Dominique Merlet at the Geneva Conservatoire.

She was a member of the Atelier lyrique de l’Opéra de Paris (now “Academy”), and won first prize in the conductor category at the Belvedere International Competition in Vienna.

Morgane Fauchois currently teaches in the vocal department of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where she is in charge of musical studies for productions.
