Megumi Ozawa

Japanese clarinetist Megumi Ozawa participated in the Ravel Academy and Ravel Festival in 2025 and was a member of the Île-de-France National Orchestra Academy in 2023 and 2024. She is invited as an additional musician in various orchestras.

She won third prize at the Picardy Clarinet Competition in 2023. In 2025, she was a semi-finalist at the Jacques Lancelot International Clarinet Competition and the Lisbon International Clarinet Competition. She was also a finalist at the Portus Naonis International Clarinet Competition.

After graduating from a music university in Japan, she continued her studies for three years at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris, where she obtained a diploma in concert clarinet and chamber music in the class of Paul Meyer, Alexandre Chabod, and Éric Le Sage.

She also participates in projects with the Ensemble 2e2m.

Megumi Ozawa is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne with Pascal Moraguès.
