Adrian Iordan

An accordionist from a family of Gypsy musicians in Bucharest, Adrian Iordan has lived in France for twenty years, where he has developed a prolific musical career: he founded two Gypsy music groups (Finzi Mosaïque Ensemble and Lautari de Bucarest ), of which he is artistic director.

In addition to his acting career with the Cie de l’archet et soufflet (musical theater), he works with the baroque music ensemble “La Tempesta” under the direction of violinist Patrick Bismuth, with whom he has created a cross-repertoire of baroque and gypsy music (premiered at the Abbaye de Royaumont).

For the past 15 years, he has been performing with various groups (Binobin, Soha, Tomuya, Arbols, Les Attaqués, Dj Click, Gaëlle Marie, etc.) on stages such as the Olympia in Paris, the Zenith, the New Morning, the Théâtre des deux Ânes, La Halle aux Grains in Toulouse, the Parco Theatre in Tokyo, the Global in Copenhagen, and more.
