Off Festival | A Look Back at the 2nd Edition

The Festival Ravel extended its run on September 18, 19, and 20, 2026, in the heart of the Basque Country, for the second edition of the Festival Off, held in conjunction with European Heritage Days.

A new highlight created in 2025, the Festival Ravel’s “Festival Off” is dedicated to young talents from the Académie Ravel and took place across the Basque region, this year in the towns of Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, Ascarat, Irissarry, Saint-Palais, Hasparren, and Arancou.

On September 18, 19, and 20, 2026, this second edition showcased a selection of 11 young French and international soloists from the most recent sessions of the Académie Ravel in a series of six concerts featuring innovative formats, held at historic venues.

In the spirit of the Festival Ravel, which had concluded a few weeks earlier, these three days continued to explore the Spanish theme centered on Manuel de Falla and Maurice Ravel, as well as the contemporary repertoire.
