Eliott Leridon is part of the new generation of French cellists.
He is a guest artist at major French festivals, including the La Roque d’Anthéron International Piano Festival, the Flâneries de Reims, the Un Été en France touring festival, the American Festival in Fontainebleau, the Pianissimes, the Chopin Festival in Cannes, the Clairvaux Abbey Festival, the Musicales de Blanchardeau, the Musicales de Durtal, and many others.
Eliott Leridon has shared the stage with artists such as Martha Argerich and Gautier Capuçon. In 2019, together with violinist Thomas Briant and pianist Théotime Gillot, he co-founded the Zarathoustra Trio. They receive guidance from the Wanderer Trio, Claire Désert, Olivier Charlier and Emmanuel Strosser. He began playing the cello at the age of seven at the Conservatoire de Corbeil-Essonnes. He later met Annie Cochet-Zakine, a decisive encounter that would shape the rest of his studies.
Eliott Leridon then joined the CRR de Paris in Thomas Duran’s class, graduating with First Prize, unanimously awarded with the jury’s congratulations. He subsequently entered the CNSM de Paris, where he continued his cello studies in Raphaël Pidoux’s class.
He has won prizes at several national and international competitions, including the Flame Competition, the Vatelot-Rampal Competition and the Vienna International Competition. Eliott Leridon has taken part in masterclasses with leading cello masters such as Raphaël Pidoux, Gary Hoffman, Marc Coppey and Henri Demarquette.
Eliott Leridon plays a magnificent “Vieux Paris” cello made by Claude Pierray in 1715, generously loaned by Mr. Nouzarède through the initiative of the association “Talents & Violoncelles”.
