Festival Ravel welcomes you to Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Ciboure and Urrugne. To make the most of your experience, we invite you to plan your visit in advance.

Transport
🚆 Getting here by train
Saint-Jean-de-Luz is served by Saint-Jean-de-Luz – Ciboure train station, located on the railway line along the Basque coast.
TER Nouvelle-Aquitaine trains run on the following line:
-Bordeaux ↔ Hendaye (TER Nouvelle-Aquitaine – Basque Coast line)
with main stops at:
-Bayonne
-Biarritz
-Saint-Jean-de-Luz – Ciboure
-Hendaye
👉 From Bordeaux, Anglet or Biarritz, this line provides easy access to the festival.

-Get off at Saint-Jean-de-Luz – Ciboure
-Allow plenty of time when arriving before concerts
-Check return train times in the evening, as some services may be limited
🚌 Getting here by bus – Txik Txak network
The Txik Txak network serves the entire Basque coast and provides easy access to Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
The main routes to use:
-routes from Bayonne – Anglet – Biarritz to Saint-Jean-de-Luz
-coastal routes connecting the seaside towns (Ciboure, Urrugne, Hendaye, Guéthary, Bidart)

🚲 Getting here by bike
Cycling is a simple and enjoyable way to reach Saint-Jean-de-Luz, particularly from the towns along the Basque coast and nearby inland areas. The region has cycle routes and shared roads connecting the main towns.
The distances are manageable and allow you to reach the town centre or the festival venues directly or nearby.
From the coast
🚲 Biarritz → Saint-Jean-de-Luz
Distance: 14 to 17 km
Estimated time: 45 min to 1 hr 15 min
Level: easy to moderate
Route via Bidart and Guéthary, mainly using shared roads and cycling infrastructure depending on the sections.
🚲 Bayonne → Saint-Jean-de-Luz
Distance: 25 to 30 km
Estimated time: 1 hr 30 min to 2 hr 30 min
Level: moderate
Route via Anglet and Biarritz before reaching the southern coast.
🚲 Hendaye → Saint-Jean-de-Luz
Distance: 12 to 15 km
Estimated time: 40 min to 1 hr
Level: easy
Direct route along Txingudi Bay, then towards Ciboure and Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
🚲 Guéthary / Bidart → Saint-Jean-de-Luz
Distance: 5 to 10 km
Estimated time: 15 to 35 min
Level: very easy
Short and quick routes to the town centre.
From inland areas of the Basque Country
It is also possible to reach Saint-Jean-de-Luz by bike from inland towns such as Ascain, Sare, Urrugne and Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle.
Distance: varies depending on the starting point
Estimated time: 20 min to 1 hr 30 min
Level: moderate to challenging
These routes use more departmental roads and involve more elevation gain than the coastal routes. They are more suitable for cyclists who are comfortable riding on roads.

Bike parking
A free, covered bike parking area is available at Saint-Jean-de-Luz–Ciboure train station, on the station forecourt.
Bike racks are also available in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Ciboure and Urrugne for parking your bike when travelling to and from the festival.
Remember to bring a suitable bike lock to keep your bike secure.

Festival Ravel is committed to making music accessible to as many people as possible and ensuring that every audience member is welcomed in the best possible conditions.
♿ Accessibility for people with reduced mobility
All Festival Ravel concert venues are accessible to people with reduced mobility, including wheelchair users. Each venue has the necessary facilities to ensure comfortable access to performances and allow everyone to fully enjoy the festival experience.
Dedicated spaces are reserved at each concert for people concerned, as well as for their companion when necessary.
To make your arrival and seating as easy as possible, we recommend booking in advance with the ticketing team. The festival teams are also available to respond to any specific requests and assist audience members in preparing for their visit.

Together for a more responsible festival
Festival Ravel encourages festival-goers to adopt a few simple actions to help reduce the event’s environmental impact.
♻️ Recycling points will be located throughout the festival site, allowing everyone to dispose of their waste in the appropriate bins.
🚬 To help keep the site clean, please remember to dispose of cigarette butts in the ashtrays provided around the site.
🌱 In some areas of the festival, a composting system will also be available to help recycle organic waste, including food waste containing animal proteins.

Ticketing
🎟️ Which concerts are still available?
Every year, several Festival Ravel concerts sell out before their performance date. To secure your place at the most popular events, we recommend booking as early as possible.
Tickets can be purchased directly through the festival’s online ticketing platform, as well as from partner tourist offices across the Basque Country and at the Centre culturel Peyuco Duhart in Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Tickets are also available at the entrance to each event, subject to availability, 45 minutes before the start of the performance.
Sold-out concerts
When a concert reaches full capacity, the “Sold out” notice will appear on the online ticketing platform.
It is possible to join the waiting list.
Safety Information
To ensure the comfort and safety of all audience members, security checks are carried out at the entrances to the various concert venues.
We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the start of the performance to allow enough time for security checks and to take your seat comfortably. Late arrivals may be subject to the specific entry conditions of each concert venue.
🚫 Prohibited items
As part of the Vigipirate security plan and the security measures currently in place, certain items are not permitted inside concert venues and spaces:
-Water bottles and reusable bottles containing liquids;
-Food;
-Umbrellas;
-Helmets (bicycle, motorcycle, scooter, etc.);
-Large bags.
The festival does not provide a cloakroom service. We therefore recommend planning your visit in advance and limiting the number of personal belongings you bring with you.
A few recommendations
-Have your ticket ready before arriving;
-Check the concert times;
-Allow enough travel time;
-Whenever possible, use shared transport or public transportation.
Festival Ravel merchandise
🛍️ Festival Ravel also offers a selection of products available on site, allowing audiences to take home a souvenir of the event.
Fans are available for €5, as well as bags for €8. A combined fan and bag offer is also available for €10, bringing together two iconic festival items at a special price.
The festival shop can be found at the Saint-Jean-de-Luz Tourist Office, as well as at the ticket office before each concert.
