Académie Ravel 2026: last days to apply!
Over the course of its 50 years of existence marked by the arrival of the greatest teaching artists, the academy has accompanied several generations of young artists who are now at the top of their art. The academy is now fully part of the new Festival Ravel project.
Under Bertrand Chamayou’s artistic leadership, this new session of the Académie Ravel will take place from August 17 to 30 2026 in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Basque country, the composer’s native land.
Based in Saint-Jean-de-Luz Cultural Center, the academy offers classes in piano, violin, viola, cello, chamber music, flute, clarinet, vocal studies and composition – all directed by a prestigious group of masters.
Individual lessons, masterclasses, open stages, ensemble projects, new pieces, workshops and professional encounters, concerts… Enjoy a unique experience alongside the great artists of today!
Applications are open until May 10th inclusive. Selection results will be announced to applicants in early June.
