Elise Bertrand
Born in 2000, Élise Bertrand trained in piano, violin, and composition.After studying at the CRR in Toulon and Paris, she obtained three master’s degrees at the CNSMD in Paris and pursued a Diploma in Performing Arts while being Artist in Residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.
Winner of second prize at the Ginette Neveu Competition and named Instrumental Soloist Revelation at the Victoires de la Musique 2024, she is supported by the Gautier Capuçon, L’Or du Rhin, Safran, and Charles Oulmont Foundations.
A soloist and chamber musician, she performs on international stages and her works, published by Billaudot and Klarthe, are played and broadcast on France Musique, Radio Classique, and ARTE Concert.
Her next album as a composer will be released by Nomadmusic in 2026.She plays a J. Gagliano violin (1796) on loan from the Société Générale Foundation.
