{"id":37366,"date":"2025-02-25T03:52:39","date_gmt":"2025-02-25T03:52:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/festivalravel.fr\/academie-2\/"},"modified":"2026-03-04T10:46:28","modified_gmt":"2026-03-04T10:46:28","slug":"academie-2025","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/festivalravel.fr\/en\/academie-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Acad\u00e9mie Ravel 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are deligthed to present the 2025 session of the Acad\u00e9mie Ravel.<\/p>\n<p>With more than 50 years of history, the Acad\u00e9mie Ravel is committed to keeping alive the legacy of Maurice Ravel and his contemporaries, and is part of a long line of teaching that has come to be known as the French school.<\/p>\n<p>The 2025 session builds on the momentum of recent years. This years the teaching team is made from historical members and new musical figures, combining French excellence with an international outlook. Pairs of teachers with complementary approaches have been formed, sometimes illustrating a lineage between master and pupil, as for the cello and piano classes, where Sol Gabetta and I will be joined by our former mentors: Ivan Monighetti and Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Heisser.<\/p>\n<p>The Acad\u00e9mie Ravel is also expanding with the opening of two new classes: flute and clarinet.
